AADAVALU
Course: Basic Weaving
Guided by: Ms. Enakshi Ghosh
Duration: 05/12/2022 - 23/12/2022
Brief:
The Basic Weaving course emphasizes learning basic woven structures and exploring how to develop them.
Process:
1. Deriving the warp pattern inspired by a music clip.
2. Setting up a 12-shaft tabletop loom.
3. Weaving samples.
4. Creating a specification sheet.
Learning:
In the basic weaving course, I learned how the manipulation of the warp and weft opened endless possibilities. By altering even a single thread, I realized how it could change the entire look of a design. This exploration of weaving possibilities sparked my passion for the course.
